I was very happy with the overall experience. I’m glad I was in the room I was in as it was in the quiet part of the building. It was a great price and very conveniently located to the station.

Abercorn House stay
Very basic could of been improved by: - mattress protectors on beds
- bedside lamp
- kettle in room/ ability to buy tea/coffee
Room was very clean & functional & a good location, easy distance from transport links.
Exactly what we expected for the price. We had an en-suite which was clean enough.
Bedding was also clean. Really good location for the tube and pubs etc

Abercorn House is a very basic hotel with shared toilets and bathrooms which was a shock to me. However the staff are very pleasant and the cleanness was excellent. The location is great for the underground station. The hotel was cheap compared to others but you get what you paid for. I would use this hotel again
Stayed overnight and certainly only qualified for two stars - comfortable enough, clean sheets and helpful staff. Beds on wheels without headboards moved around the room as you got in them, shower head very crusted with limescale, thin door to the room let lots of noise through.

Liked: Cleanliness
After reading some reviews I was so anxious about staying here. For the one night it was perfect. It was clean. Check in was easy although not by the friendliest of people. It was a bit noisy with people coming in and out but I felt safe.
Avoid unless you don't mind a hostel aetup with noise late at night and puke in the toilets.

Very close to the Apollo
Easy and fast check in - show id, sign paper, given key.
Very basic, but if all you want is a roof over your head and bed for the night then this will do.
A very short walk to the apollo, its just the other side of the tube station, loads of chain pub and restaurants to get food in the area.
My only gripe is the mattress on the bed we were in (207) sunk in the middle, could do with replacing.
I would definitely use again.
