"We have been coming to stay in Tallahassee for 4 years and this was our first experience staying at this hotel. This is a cute hotel, I love how they have tried to put a unique twist on their accommodations. The lobby is very bright and welcoming. They offer a coffee bar (for a charge) which I absolutely love (most hotels only have the free basic coffee, which they also offered for those who preferred that). Check in was very smooth and the staff was very very friendly. The rooms are very small. We came up for graduation and had my husband and I, and our 2 children (17 and 20). It was really hard to move around in the room with all 4 of us, the beds were so close you could reach out and touch the person in the other bed. The bathroom reminded me of something you would get in an RV, and the sink was outside the bathroom, so there was no privacy. It was hard to get dressed in the bathroom due to the size (and we are not large people). There was also a HUGE red stain between the beds on the floor. My daughter thought it was vomit. We should have probably said something. The sheets / bedding also did not seem "clean". They weren't "crisp" and seemed "off whitish" like dirty, if that makes sense. The towels were so tiny they don't even wrap around an adult body. Parking was easy, and the location was convenient. They offered a free breakfast which is comparable to that which is offered at other hotels."

"The room had an odor that may have been mold. I sprayed Fabreze in the room and it helped for the night. When we returned to the room the second night the smell had returned. There were bugs in the shower. When I reported the issues to management they wrote the room number and said they would address it. No apologies for the issues or offers to assist with the problem. Would not recommend staying here other than it was quiet."

"The Inn had a great first impression. Staff and visuals were very good. Pool area was very nice. We didn’t eat there but it smelled good. The beds were very comfortable. Our issues were in the bathroom. No hooks or shelves for a place to put our toiletries. No place to hang towels other than tossing over the high glass shower door. We took our first shower on a Saturday morning. For each of us the water pressure was temperamental. A weak stream was the best. It then dropped to water flowing down the wall. I was barely able to get my face and hair rinsed of soap and shampoo. Then it returned to a weak stream again. Thinking an evening shower would be better, it then only had luke warm water. Very early the day we left, the water was chilly. Those two days we didn’t shower, including the day we spent at the beach. Sorry that this is lengthy. I hope that the third floor customers didnt all experience what we did. I hope it can be fixed. Knowing it is an old building, we still hope improvements can be made with this issue. We did sleep great though. "

"This was such a delightful surprise! We has some trouble finding the place at first - it was a bit overgrown and hidden. However, once we were tucked inside, that added to the charm and we enjoyed ourselves so much. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a true Old Florida get away."

"I have 2 service dogs and the man working the front desk charged me for them. Despite me offering to show documentation. This was not the experience I needed after the horrible day I was having. The place is not in very good shape and doesn't match the photos. The place was grimey and did not feel sanitary. For being a Wyndham you would think they would update their furniture. My room was a non- smoking room and smelled so bad of cigarettes. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is the manager this morning gave me a refund for the pet fees and confirmed that it is not legal for them to charge a fee for service animals. The bed cover, chairs, and floor was filthy. I had to fill the bathtub and rinse before i could use. So glad i did with all of the hair and floaties that came out lf the jets. My feet were black after walking on the floor. Hopefully this review inspires some change."
