「Found the hotel overall pleasant , i stayed one night i didn't have a very good night sleep found the very hard pillow was very uncomfortable, there was two off us staying in the room there was only one bath towel we had to ask for another and one cup . The breakfast was good . Have stayed in this Hotel before a few years back found it excellent feel that this time different because of the hard pillow 」

「Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it. Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar. 」

「Though GPS directed our car to the tourist coach parking lot at the back, the hotel is just beside the motorway service centre with several restaurants in it. As customer of the hotel, we can buy £10 worth of coupon at £7.5 and the coupon can be used at nearby restaurant. The family room is also spacious, though the nearby gas station charges comparatively higher than other gas station 」

「I recommend the Black Horse. Very quiet and restful. The main building (pub & restaurant) is quite old and interesting with multiple levels and interior structures. The Garden Area was a delightful area for a pint and dinner, service was friendly as was the check-in. The grounds are sloped creating an inviting green impression. 「The hotel was great, the room was large with a great view of the grounds and lake, even had a hot air balloon experience taking off from the grounds which was brilliant to see, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was good quality, nice bar area including outdoor seating. hotel was in a great location with leeds castle very close by and multiple country pubs within a 10 minute drive」
