"WOW! Fresh milk in the room for teas and coffee. I would highly recommend The Royal. We arrived late on a Sunday and the hotel kept the kitchen open for us to have an evening meal. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was superb, one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The breakfast was just as delicious. If we could have stayed an extra night, we would have. "

"Host and staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet, its a shame that it is only the bathroom that has view of the river. The old pub where you can get drinks, lovely food and a nice atmosphere is in need of some work, but Im guessing that is something they are looking at. Lots of free parking and a great location to experience what the area has on offer. "
