「Never received the check in details 24 hours before so couldn’t risk taking the family and I had to do a 5 hour round trip to go get them, we didn’t have any hot water for the first 24 hours. The mattress in the main bedroom was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on and after the first night slept in the lounge, also there isn’t a table so they provide 4/5 small tables to eat off but 1 of these had 2 missing legs and another’s legs were about to fall off. The lodge is awesome and communication with Margaret the host is incredible, she responded to every email I sent asking questions about the area and generously offered us an extra night as we had to cancel our other stay due to ill health. The lodge has everything and is beautifully decorated with furnishings and even has netflix and wi-fi. 「Great place to stay for a break, the caravan layout was ideal and the kitchen had all the facilities needed to cook meals etc., Having a shower/toilet and a separate toilet makes this property ideal for families. Cleanliness was of a very good standard and quality bedding provided. The location was quiet but within a few miles of towns and local pubs and eateries if you wanted to go off site. I would stay again.」
