Amazing, stunning lodge -Margaret is a super host

10 out of 10, Absolutely amazing stay. The lodge is awesome and communication with Margaret the host is incredible, she responded to every email I sent asking questions about the area and generously offered us an extra night as we had to cancel our other stay due to ill health. The lodge has everything and is beautifully decorated with furnishings and even has netflix and wi-fi. The lodge is dog friendly with blankets provided should your furry friend decide they want to sit next to you on the sofa (we took our own as we knew ours would want to), dog treats were provided but the best dog friendly thing provided for us was the super dog lead which was hooked to the lodge so you could leave your dog sitting outside knowing they couldnt escape or catch the ducks that wandered to the lodge each day. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break or base to explore the Lake District.

Stunning holiday home - close to Lake District

Amazing stay. The place is absolutely stunning and has everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. The host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us and the home speaks for itself. It’s just beautiful We will definitely be coming back but also this place is the one to book if your looking for a spot to stay in for your trip to Lake District

Beautiful place and wonderful owner x

The entire place was spotless, there was so much to do around the area especially walking wise, Margret is really helpful and a wonderful character. The pond opposite has some ducks which are friendly. No dogs to be heard (even though there were dogs on site) and everyone on the site is responsible and respectful, really enjoyed our 5 night stay.
