「hotel is really nice, room are big and clean with good ventilation but the food at the pub is not recommended 」

「Beautiful room, stunning view from room 4. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, and if you are heading out for walks, they can provide a packed lunch if you order the day before. There must have been at least 5 extremely wellbeahaved dogs at the hotel that were owned by guests, its a super dog friendly place. There are towels to dry off the dogs and also a sink outside undercover with warm water tap to clean the dogs if needed.」

「Everything we stayed 2 nights in the lodge with hot tub very comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially Emily on reception. Breakfast was disappointed as there were not a varies.」

「What a wonderful hotel. Greated by the owner when we arrived, explained everything about the hotel, offered to help us with the local area if we didn’t know how to get around. The breakfast choice was immense and everything we had was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Rich and Ada were both very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again. Location is perfect, the same distance from Bowness and Windermere and both being walkable 」
