RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto
Close to the rail station. A decent sized room spoilt by having a double bed pushed against a wall, and the quilt cover being too big ( each night the actual duvet moved to the bottom of the bed - very uncomfotable. The bed needs to be away from the wall.
