「Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!」

「This hotel is severely outdated, nowhere near handicap, accessible rooms were dirty, covered in sand whenever we walked in the first day the first night the TV didn’t work in our bedroom come to find out there’s also no air conditioners in the bedrooms. We left early from our stay and the hotel refused to refund us The rooms were terribly hot at night and then the hotel told me that TV is complementary so they had no reason to fix our TV first night. We were there also when the TV didn’t work...

「Fantastic room! Great for couples! Fans and air-conditioning kept the room nice and cool. Shower was amazing. Everything was very clean! Cons- There are no hooks in the bathroom sink area to hang your hand towels. There was only a small square table right next to the toilet, where you could put your items and the hand towels, which was very awkward. The bed was just okay; it was sinking in the middle. Con’s: Time to upgrade mattress in their rooms. Ours was horrible!! Pits in it, squeaks every time you roll over. Bathroom shower needs a makeover. Tub faucet had a constant drip.」

「Adorable inn right on the water. Staff was super friendly! It’s an older building so there’s some reasonable “character” here and there but overall you can see it’s a well cared for. Its location is wonderful and we would definitely stay again!」
