"Very professional staff, well-equipped rooms, and excellent breakfast. Nice extra touches, such as being able to check how busy the restaurant is from the room. "

"A little difficult to find if you are walking, but the owner was lovely, and went out of his way to help me and my friend. The hotel itself was very comfortable, good wifi and a comfortable shared space."

"Fantastic breakfast service! I already miss the Japanese breakfasts with the variety. This hotel is extremely convenient. The Izumiotsu subway station is a short 4 minute walk away and the supermarket is only 3 minutes. The supermarket has a fantastic selection of ready-to-eat choices. Also, there is a Mr Donut and a McDonalds at the base of the hotel. There are several places to eat besides these around the subway station (Nankai). The only slightly negative thing was the hotel had...

"Our stay at Risonare was awful from start to finish. When we arrived they told us there would be a significant extra fee for our 1-year-old to stay with us (I was pretty sure we booked the reservation with a child included, but regardless, this is the only hotel out of 6 that we stayed at in Japan that charged extra for a child under 2 years old). The room was advertised as a 4-bed room but when we got to the room the 4th bed did not have sheets on it, and we were told there would be a charge...

"A beautiful old town house style accommodation. Four japanese style bedrooms that lock separately, two toilets and showers, a spaceous kitchen, and one big shared living area which is lovingly decorated with traditional japanese decoration and furniture. There are also toys for kids and kimono (yukata) to wear.
The streets are narrow and you might get lost if you don't use a navigation map on your phone, but it's only 10 minutes from the train station. It's a quiet residential area with a few...

"The staff are pleasant and helpful. I like all their food for breakfast. When I arrive earlier than expected there is a locker in the basement you can store your luggage.
The location is close to stores, supermarket, Daiso and walkable to Namba station, Dontonbori and Ocat. I is a busy area. There is also a Lawson store close by."
"The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a first class hotel located in the Namba Osaka district. I was thrilled when I checked in that the management had upgraded me to the 27th floor, which was a restricted area. I felt very special when using the elevator to get to my room. I must say having a corner room at that level and looking out your window, the view and scenery of Osaka is breathtaking. Overall, the room is very spacious and clean, and there are a lot of grooming amenities for you at your convenience. And that’s the reason I’ll keep coming back to The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. You don’t have to pack too much stuff. It’s all right here!"
"Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend
Recently stayed here and had an excellent experience. I must say the hotel and staff were amazing. We arrived around 11pm due to a delayed flight and lengthy train ride. The hotel was extremely clean. The front desk lady was able to help me figure out how to get to Sumoto on Awaji Island, which made the day trip much easier. The view from the hotel room was very nice as well. Hotel is well situated with the subway below the hotel as well as having a grocery store in the basement which was extremely convenient. We were also about a 10-15 minute walk from where most of the tour buses meet up as well, an added bonus. Room was on the small side but it wasn’t a big issue as we were out and about most of the time. I have friends going to Japan in February and I’ll be highly recommending this hotel to them. When I return to Japan I will definitely be staying at this hotel.

"The room was very clean and well appointed with a fridge. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with an excellent selection of food and beverages. I recommend this hotel. "
