「The property is on a main road leading into Keystone. It also leads to other attractions so there is quite a bit of traffic including loud trucks and motorcycles. The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent, but a little pricey. Breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon, toast coffee and milk was $18.50 with a 10% off coupon provided by the property. 「We traveled to this location during the night and it was incredibly hard to see the road signs leading to it. Most of the roads were dirt and some of them were washed out from rain. It is best to get here during daylight.」

「The room was small, the bathroom SMALLER. It was a conveniently located property for what we wanted to do. It is definitely old and care-worn, but it was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was adequate. Parking was not so good. Very small area and difficult to maneuver if you have a larger vehicle, which we did. Overall it was good and the price good for the area.」

「This motel is located very close to the Mount Rushmore National Monument, 10 minutes drive only. Staffs are very friendly.」

「This is a new hotel about 10 minutes from downtown Rapid City. Free parking and highway access are definite pluses. It is spacious and modern. It may lack the charm of the Alex Johnson hotel, but it more than makes up for it with convenience. The pool is very small but it does have a nice hot tub. The free breakfast buffet menu changes daily.」

「In the past two months I have stayed there twice. Although I had liked staying there before, these last 2 stays were different. The first time the toilet did not flush and I had to do it manually. The second time the pass key cards for the rooms did not function well. I had to get them to be reset so I could get in. So, it became inconvenient. I may not stay there again, unless I can't find another place. Please take care of your property so that you will get satisfied customers.」
