"We've driven by during the bike rally hundreds of time and always thought it was a cute, quaint place. Staying there was a pleasure. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. The decor is charming and quaint. There are 2 pools, a hot tub, patios, pickleball, basketball, board games to play, and table video games on free play. "We stayed in classic Queen room 114 on the first floor for several nights. The view was nice in that we saw horned sheep and a buffalo out on the front lawns from our room twice. It was a little noisy having someone above us, so I would recommend getting a higher floor facing the lawn. "We were so glad to find a hotel available after "season" in Custer. Visiting friends and had a great time. The hotel was getting ready for their remodel, so there were trucks and boxes.
