「Great service」

「I DO NOT recommend anyone stay at this establishment. When I returned for the day and turned on the lights roaches scattered across the floor. Roaches were even in the bed. I left and they would not give a refund for the nights I paid for.」

「only one complaint that the carpet was quite sticky. Other than that, wonderful location, great fishing and crabbing pier, very friendly staffs, nice swimming pool, veryclose to all locations. We really loved it.!」

「No staff on site to check us in. An envelope with instructions was left for us in the lobby (main door unlocked at ALL times). Found the room unlocked with the key hanging on the wall inside. The whole check in process is a security concern. The web site says free self-parking. There is street parking in front but limited to 3 hours. We called the management number. An operator answering the call tried to connect us to the management but got no answer. We left a message but never got a call or...

「Great place to stay」

「The refuge lives up to its name; a quiet cozy spot to retreat and recharge. We loved the ponies, big shady trees, and proximity to Assateague. Our room was comfortable and clean; we had a mini fridge and a dehumidifier (critical in this region). I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with daily housekeeping and where everything simply worked.」

「Spark is very close to the wildlife refuge. Walking distance to Blackfin and McDonald's. Our stay was comfortable and we'd stay here again.」

「We would absolutely stay here again. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, the room/beds comfortable. Convenient to shops and the restaurant right next door was a plus. Gorgeous views! Very nice pool area. I was a little concerned about the highway but you can’t hear any traffic noise at all. Overall the property rates high on our list and I tend to be picky. Oh the hot water was pleasantly hot as I love a good hot bath! Highly recommend!」

「The people that were working here were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean which is always the most important thing to me and my family. We wanted a room that was on a budget but also clean and this fit that perfect. It's In an awesome location, walkable to restaurant, shopping, ice cream, ect. My husband and son used the pool and loved it. We also stayed there on the 4th of July holiday weekend and we were able to watch fireworks from our balcony. It was a perfect getaway!」

「We stayed over the 4th of July and neighboring guests were very noisy. Our toilet was SLOW to refill, we had to wait 5 minutes between flushes to flush again and it was noisy. We needed office help to get the cable box working and several times during our two night stay it would shut off and we had to reset it. We could live with these things, but it was inconvenient. The location was nice and the pool was refreshing. Shower had lots of HOT water! The included breakfast was the BEST PART!」
