"The front and balcony view was amazing. Only complaint was that at the end of our stay we had to pay for parking. I would think that would be including in the reservations. And speaking of parking, be very careful, they have three parking lots. We ended up getting towed thinking it was there parking lot. Sign was very small it was the neighboring hotel parking lot. Just be mindful, trying to save you $220."

"For reference we stayed in room 104. Over all everything was clean, everything worked, no odors, air conditioning and refrigerator were turned on prior to our arrival so our room was cool. This is not a high end hotel chain but it was clean and very well lit at night time. I love that 7-11 was right next door. It is one block away from the boardwalk and beach. If you need a clean place to stay for a decent price and your not looking for any frills, this is the place. There was also a pool but we did not swim. I would stay here again. This is definitely one of the cleanest places I have stayed in VA BEACH for the price."

"Marjac is an inexpensive way to stay on the oceanfront. For the most part the rooms are fairly well clean, didn’t see any indications of insects or rodents, however, the balcony was quite disgusting, and I don’t mean like weather gets to it gross, I mean like 3 lil kids spilling, sneezing and spitting (or colllage students, either are probable lol) the staff is helpful, and attentive to the guests, and usually will address whatever requests you have immediately. Worth the money to stay on the oceanfront though, I’ll probably go back."
