Nice old Victorian

Nice place, owner genuinely nice. Had a really great breakfast, served in our room each morning, interesting area, all and all great long weekend getaway- recommended. Place just needs an ice machine.

Lovely old home near Assateague

We had a lovely time staying at the Inn. Grace, our host, was fun to talk to and the room and bed were both very comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the little touches around the property, especially the night lighting, as well as the full service breakfasts. The B&B is a bit far from the local attractions, but it does make for a good central location for day excursions. Would recommend!

Wonderful place to stay at for a quiet getaway

The Garden and Sea Inn is a great place to get away for a quiet vacation or wonderful place to stay if going to Chincoteague beach, VA (only 20 minutes away). Room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Grace is a wonderful host, and the free breakfast she prepared was plentiful and tasty.

Very close to chincoteage island and asseteage on the Md. side also. extremely quiet and the jacuzzi tub was excellent. The breakfast was great and we will stay here again whenever we come. What a great experience!

Amazing place, we’ll be coming back

This is an amazing place to stay if you are looking for a quiet romantic stay with your SO. If you have a pet - make sire you bring a crate for them. They have a pet policy that’s listed on their website but not on hotels.com, so a) pet stay is extra and is charged upon arrival b) pets are not allowed on beds and furniture, so if you want to avoid cleaning fee - bring a crate with you (or you can buy a cheap one at a local walmart) They serve amazing breakfast and their amenities are outstanding

Wonderful gardens around the grounds! Only a short drive to the beach, and the room was fantastic. The owners are so warm and friendly and made us feel at home instantly. Will recommend to everyone!

What an enchanting osasis. The owners were welcoming. Proud of their property and added special touches throughout to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Everything was well maintained and had modern conveniences but retained the charm and uniqueness of the historic Victorian. Grace is a wonderful host. We plan to visit again.

Very charming place with gracious and personable hosts. Loved the place and the people. Definitely would like to go back again. While they allow pets, they require the pets to be crated if you leave the rooms. This was a problem for us since we don't have a crate for our dogs and the national park in the area doesn't allow dogs even in the car. A closed enclosure outside would be a nice idea for others in our situation.

Cute B&B convenient to Chincoteague

Relaxing stay convenient to Chincoteague. Hosts were warm and welcoming. My boyfriend and I enjoyed breakfast, sunset at the pool, and talking on the screened-in porch in addition to Assateague/Chincoteague adventuring nearby. New innkeepers are diligent about making improvements to the historic property. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend.
