3. HOTEL GALAXY POD

Koshigaya

"The place is completely unstaffed, and check-in is done through a kiosk. Luggage is stored under your pod, and the pod doors themselves don't lock. There was a stain on our bedsheet, and the double pods aren't that much bigger than the single, so space will be a little tight for 2 people. The pods also creak a bit if you move a lot in your sleep. Would probs recommend if you're a solo traveller and just want to do a night or two, but as a group/family, it may not be the most convenient option."

"The property was super clean, cozy and quiet. It was lovely being next to Kanda station and a quick train ride away from anything. I chose 9h for my 3 day stop in Tokyo and as a solo woman it was perfect. I especially liked that there was a space to do my hair and makeup with good lighting. The other girls were quiet and respectful and I felt very comfortable here. Everyday you are provided a new bag of linens which is also great. 100% I will stay again next time I come to Tokyo."

Top Kawagoe Hotel Reviews

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku

10/10 Excellent

"Highly recommend"

APA Hotel Shinjuku Gyoemmae

10/10 Excellent

"I’ve been using this property since it opened several years ago. It’s footsteps from the Marunouchi metro in the quiet area of Shinjuku, adjacent to the National Park. Not all APA hotels have spas — this one does. It also has the most reasonable and delicious Wagyu shabu shabu or sukiyaki lunch in town!"
