"Very cute guest house, we enjoyed our stay in the family room. The staff was very accommodating and hold our luggage prior to checking in. There’s a very good soba/udon restaurant (Dote) nearby. The beach is very close by as well. "
"We had an amazing time staying at the Amber house in Zaimokuza. The amenities were excellent, the house has all kitchenware stocked, and the parking spot right out front was very convenient and fit our rental SUV. It is a little tricky pulling in/out of the narrow driveway but one of the neighbors came and helped us. The beach is just steps away (look for the underpass walkway, don't cross the road) and also close to the Drop-In Cafe for great lattes. We would love to come back some day!"
"The owner (bushi) of the guesthouse was such an amazing and kind person. He gave a tour around Kamakura and made delicious breakfast for me and my husband. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time staying at a guest house but it became a precious memory. "
"The room was super clean and the owner was incredibly helpful and nice! We had a pleased stay for a very reasonable price! Would come back on my next trip!"
"It was a very enjoyable stay at this culturally authentic accomodation. The city is incredibly charming and peaceful and this villa fits perfectly with that atmosphere.

"We found our stay at WeBase Kamakura extremely pleasant. We would like to praise above all the very friendly and helpful staff including those at the reception desk and at the hotel restaurant. We found the room spotless clean and the beds very comfortable. We also appreciate the free services that the hotel offers including the public bath and the lounge which unfortunately we did not have time to fully experience during our short stay. The only minor suggestion from us would be for the hotel to maybe offer a choice between buffet or set menu breakfast. While we really enjoyed the set menu breakfast, this does entail adhering to a reserved time slot. Because we were offered very similar choices of set menu for two consecutive days, we would have probably preferred the availability of more varied set options or the possibility of a buffet breakfast that does not require prior reservation. We are very happy with our stay here overall!"

"Great location from station and main street.
Nice touches in the lobby are appreciated - cold towels and the designed terrariums.
Rooms are comfortable and well designed."
"Overall, it was an unforgettable experience to stay in your very own traditional Japanese house. It wasn't just one room; it was a whole house. Amazing experience. Totally recommend it. "
"This was one of my favorite hostel experiences ever. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "
