「The room smelled very musty, probably from carpet.」

「Good location, but the place is not as clean and modernly updated as advertised. WiFi worked on and off over our stay, kept cutting in and out. Carpet was old and had an odor to it, photos online were pretty deceiving to reality when we arrived. We made it work though.」

「The motel is cute, very retro and really clean. That said it’s the basics only, nothing fancy. We had a room with two full size beds so my husband and I each had a bed. The bed my husband slept in had a broken box spring which we didn’t know about until we were climbing in for the night. He sat on the edge and it dropped. 「My room was right next to the highway which impacted my sleep. This room was very very small, but I was allowed to bring my Labrador along. You cannot leave the dog in the room, so that is a bit disruptive if you want to go out for dinner. The locks on the doors are as old as the facility and tricky to learn how to use. I locked myself out once. The staff was great and came to let me in, but scolded me for leaving the dog in the room alone when I only went to my vehicle to get something. ...

「Charming setting and quiet. Staff very friendly. Several outdoor sitting areas, including a patio, bonfire area and bar-b-q grill. Outdoor hot tub was nice. Suite was spacious, with honeycomb shades and blackout draperies so the room was dark. Only downside for us was the firm bed (we are use to more softness). Walking path across the street; downtown was not too far away - walkable. Would definitely recommend.」
