Room was great! Went there for a nice relaxing long weekend. Couldn’t wait to go in the hot tub. Unfortunately from 8am til 10pm whenever we went to the hot tub it was filled with kids and floatees!!! Was able to use 1 time. I was up every morning and even at 8am there were families with kids in the hot tub with floatees! Not trying to be that old guy but it is ridiculous that it was like that. On top of it ….from Thursday till Sunday morning when we left , from about 630am til around 1030pm all we could hear was running jumping and stomping on the floor above us. We were in room 109 last name was Day And I believe we were in the north wing so I’m assuming the room above us was 209. So unfortunately, the floors are so thin that you can hear everybody walking, but this was out of control. At one point, we did say something to the front desk about the hot tub and they just laughed. We get that kids will be there and it is their vacation, but we also are on vacation and could not enjoy it. Also I understand that parents are horrible these days and let their children run wild, but then the resorts have to step up and uphold certain rules so that all parties can enjoy. We come up at least once a year, but will be looking elsewhere for the future. Thanks for listening

Great overall stay. The indoor pool and hot tub are very large and nice...and warm. Its a great location to be able to walk to the Egg Harbor shops/restaurants/bars. The only suggestion is that the rooms need a little TLC and some items needed a little maintenence. I do not like that they do not offer full room cleaning...just towel swaps. We would gladly stay again.

Our second stay there. Very comfortable suite with a fireplace, kitchen, eating area , bedroom . Manager is professional and friendly. Close to town and easy parking. We will come back here. Only negative is the dishwasher was not empty.

This was an ideal location to enjoy a beautiful view, be within walking distance to shops, relax with a hot tub, and have plenty of room to rest in the apartment style accommodations. We would love to come again!

First of all, I have no real complaints about my stay; I enjoyed my time there. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the showers had plenty of hot water and pressure. At times my two bedroom suite seemed cramped, having large and plentiful furniture. It wasn’t uncomfortable, just that some walking around space seemed limited. I realize that it’s a vacation room, not a home. That said, the furniture was comfortable and the gas fireplace was a nice cozy touch for the chilly evenings and nights. The facilities were clean, no doubt about it. What could give the appearance of uncleanliness is due to its age. For example, the bathtubs might have been originals and due to age and use, may have an appearance of being dingy. One shower door was ill fitting, hard to open and shut. Perhaps the resort age shows in other areas as well. I want to stress that these “complaints” are really more observations. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and if I were to return to the area, Newport Resort would definitely be a place I would consider staying at again.

The hot tub was too hot, we could not even sit in it and relax- this was the biggest downfall. Rest of the stay was great- room was spacious everything we needed. Staff was so friendly. Loved the fall decorations. Location is perfect, no on a too busy street but walkable to so many thing. Will be visiting again in the future.
