「When we checked in we were told they were short staffed and would clean our room after the 3rd night. Our room was never cleaned during our 6 night stay. We had to take out our own trash and repeatedly had to ask for fresh supplies. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, was frequently out of stock, and there was no fresh fruit. 「This cute, retro gem of a motel transported me back to my childhood, replete with matching chairs in front of the room door. The room was brightly colored with comfortable beds, reasonably sized bathroom, kitchenette stocked with necessities, and even a pullout counter with stools. Truly an excellent value in an expensive tourist destination.」

「What I liked was the location of the Hotel, it's proximity to excellent eateries and the views of Sturgeon Bay! The room was very clean and comfy. When we checked in there was staff available, but often as we'd come and go from our hotel, we wouldn't see anyone at the front desk or anywhere that we could have communicated with if we'd needed it. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay, it's cleanliness and location.」

「The place is old and needs updating but decent and clean. Rooms are wide and open with big windows. There were some summer bugs that my kids gits scared off but was takaen care of by staff. Restaurant and bar downstairs have great food and great service. Kudos to the cooks and the bar tender. My daughter’s TV did not work at all but we did not bother to have it taken care off. My kids got by without the tv anyways. There was weird smell in the room due possibly to the age of the building....
