Roosevelt Inn Mount Rushmore

Roosevelt Inn Mount Rushmore

10/10 Excellent
"The stay was wonderful. There was 3 adults and 2 kids. We had a family suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. The room and living room were separated by French doors. The balcony is spacious and overlooked the tramway (which closes early there is no disruption). Breakfast was a very good, standard continental. Staff were very friendly, many live on site so they have a different appreciation for the place. They have maintained it well. One thing to note is that this isn't a fancy 5 star hotel, so if you're looking for that then this isn't it - HOWEVER, it is very well maintained and it's a beautiful building with some really special stories and items to fully bring Teddy Roosevelt's spirit to the place. I would definitely stay again!"

"Excellent and popular restaurant on site. Good basic cabin accommodations with parking and an outdoor pool on site. Property is on a pretty steep slope and fronts onto the highway so it can be a bit noisy. Nice place in a convenient location."

"It was a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was fine, just old. Only complaint was the couch was like really old and super uncomfortable to sit on, should be replaced. Breakfast every morning was great as it was a different menu each day. Coffee was hot! Room service upon request which was also nice."
