"Overall the resort is just too big. And depending where your room is, you will average 4-5 miles of walking per day just to get coffee and food. You can get rides but it’s probably faster to just walk to your destination. It would be awesome if they had little coffee and snack huts (besides the pool snacks) along the different paths. The staff was great. Dinners were awesome. Our room was always clean. "

"Room and facilites are pristine, very very clean. Room are spacious and have everything you need, very nice terrace. Staff is wonderful, always with a smile and willing to help. A lot of young staff that could probably benefit from some extra training in terms of boundaries: they are very loud, some unprofessional at times. Hotel is clearly focused on the American tourist that likes to drink around the clock. They seem to be the priority. The swim up bar is just packed with people drinking and yelling and the music is so loud in the afternoon. They seem to be the center of the attention, not the rest of the guests. We probably caught a spring break crowd, so teens and twenty year olds intoxicated around the common areas was a common sight. All of the above I could tolerate, but the food, oh my god, it is really, really inferior than it has been in the past. I’ve been to a couple of RIU hotels in the past (2019 and 2024) and it’s been getting worse and worse every time. It is a shame because we were planning another short trip in the fall and I can’t come back here. I would because of the facilities, and the beach, but I can’t eat this food again for 4 days. PLEASE, do something about it. "

"The staff and everybody was amazing. Only issue was we paid for horseback riding and they changed the time to later in the day and we could not do it so we wanted to cancel it and get a refund which they said they could do. And I have yet to receive my refund yet. If anybody can help out please reach out."
