My main complaints are... #1. Poor A/C in the room. #2. They try to hook everyone in purchasing their "Privilage" vacation program... I don't appreciate wasting 2-3 hours of my vacation time trying to persuade me to "Buy"! #3. The food was just ok... overall the buffet was pretty good! Route 66 and the Italian restaurant were dissapointing! The staff overall is friendly. I would say pur stay was OK... nothing spectacular though.

This resort is beautiful. The things I would improve are as follows: the LVP in our room was coming apart, the room AC only went to 75 degrees, more trash cans all over the resort, the beach towel thing was confusing, sometimes we needed a card and sometimes not. We were told our room had beach towls which they did but it was confusing when we traded them in.

Pro: Beautiful, clean, clear water, white sandy long beach. Large clean pool. Con: Got Dirty room at first, after complained moved to another room we made sure they clean room thoroughly before we moved. Mini didn't restoke coffee, coffe cream packages everyday, we have to asked for it. Most of the time food were cold, salty, over cocked meat. Resort, furnitures, lounge chairs shows ageing, need Updates seriously.

This is a beautiful and clean but dated resorted. The food was good, not great. The steakhouse and buffet was our favorites and the Mexican restaurant was our least favorite. We loved the piano bar. I felt safe and we never got sick.

Great resort! Rooms were clean, the staff were overly accommodating! Food options were plentiful and we dined in a restaurant every night for dinner. The steakhouse was amazing! Beach area was good, pools gave you the option of being in the middle of entertainment or just relaxing. The coffee house was one of our favorites! Spa was also good and priced as you would expect.

Dans l’ensemble, notre séjour s’est bien passé et nous avons passé un agréable moment. La majorité du personnel était vraiment sympathique et professionnelle, que ce soit les serveurs, les hôtesses ou les bellmen, toujours souriants et serviables. Nous avons toutefois trouvé l’accueil à la réception un peu moins chaleureux, à l’exception de Lisbeth et Yessinda qui ont été particulièrement aimables et efficaces. Les chambres sont belles et globalement propres. Merci à Odalis de l’équipe housekeeping, son professionnalisme et son souci du détail ont été très appréciés. Le point négatif principal reste la tentative insistante d’enrôlement au programme Premium Travel. L’approche nous a semblé assez forcée et ce n’était pas la meilleure expérience de vente. Une approche plus légère et moins insistante serait préférable pour les clients qui souhaitent simplement profiter de leur séjour en toute tranquillité.

It was horrible from the start. We upgraded to privilege to get the pampered experience but it was the exact opposite of that for the majority of the stay. Front desk was very slow with checkin and didn’t go over much with us at all. Took 30 minutes for them just to verify that we did indeed already pay online in full even though it clearly stated that on the invoice in front of him. We then had to switch rooms three times due to broken lamps barely hanging in the wall, broken wall art or missing all together. Then the next room had major plumbing issues and the toilet started over flowing while also having the sink and shower randomly drilling and gurgling. Apparently the room above us also had flooding because they came to our room before we had the chance to tell them about our issues. Finally got a third room however the guy helping us move our luggage into the new room, broke our suitcase handle making it unable to be usable as a roller suitcase. The restaurants were very slow with any kind of service and yes we are on vacation but waiting over 30 minutes to even get helped or acknowledged is ridiculous. Most the time we didn’t even stay for dessert because we didn’t want to sit there for another hour. The customer service in that resort needs a major fixing. It’s so sad because it’s a beautiful resort but needs a huge staff make over. The only two people that were nice and pleasant were the butler and the sweet lady at the ice cream stand. We won’t be back.

The room was very big and tidy, cleaning every day. The pools are excellent and super clean, and all the employees are very happy, singing all day and making you feel very comfortable. If there is one thing to comment, is not having changed the sheets in the 10 days of the stay.

We paid for upgraded "privilege" status which advertised an expedited check in process and personal concierge service. The check in process was a dismal failure of over 45 minutes - with no line. It would have been comedic had we not traveled for over 12 hours and were absolutely starving. The concierge service was also worthless. You are much better off making your own reservations to the restaurants and amenities. In short, the basic services you would expect from a resort were disappointing. The privilege status also advertised top-shelf alcohol. They are heavy on Scotch and light on bourbon. They have plenty of good rum available at the regular status. If you are a scotch drinker- the upgrade would be good for you. If you are not the regular status would be just fine. Now the good part- the service staff were all amazing. The bar tenders, restaurant workers, shuttle drivers, housekeeping... all wonderful. The food and beverages were of good quality, and the restaurants offered a change from the buffet. My closing would be- I am not sure if the increased cost of the upgraded status was actually worth it. I would caution anyone considering it against it.
