My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 nights. We paid for privilege which I highly recommend. We had our own hotel employee that was awesome. Hector was so helpful. He helped us make reservations at the restaurants on the 1st morning we arrived. My favorites were the blue moon French restaurant and the steakhouse. Also at the privilege pool and ocean cabana the food was delicious. Ceviche was so yummy, hummus was so good. The guacamole and chips were perfect. We also had top shelf alcohol for being privilege. The general buffet was good for breakfast. The rooms were nice. I loved the big bathtub and shower. The beds were comfortable. Entertainment was good. Therre was something for everyone every day. We booked an atv excursion. Wear clothes you don’t care about bc you get full of dust and mud. The pools were all nice. The beach is gorgeous here!! Absolutely my favorite part of the entire stay. The security was good on the resort. I totally recommend this resort

Everything was perfect. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Perfect for a couple, family or friends vacation. Entertainment was also amazing. Check in was smoothly and check out as well. Rooms were clean and big. Beach was good but strong waves. Pool bartenders and safeguards were more than friendly and cheerful. Definitely worth the money and would be back happily.

The check in staff basically demanded a tip right out the gates, all I had asked was if they had rooms closer to the beach, turns out I was going to get that room anyhow due to booking through Expedia. He asked for me to "grease the wheels.". Then they pester you to sell you on their membership package for future bookings, essentially a time share. Wasted an hour of me and my wife's time one morning, while we both sat there telling them we're not interested. I won't recommend this place to anyone. Bunch of olds sitting at the pool hogging pool chairs. We were at the beach everyday, which the service there is non-existent. Go to one of the RIUs, way better experience.

Room was clean and comfortable. They will provide you water bottle. Pool was great unlimited regular drink. Restaurant was clean and food was good but need to arrange more sea food item especially salmon fish. Staff was friendly and helpful but do not talk English that much. This resort does not have an elevator. In our case we booked pool view room, but they provided us jungle view room which one we don't like it.

Very good service, food was excellent. Specially the steakhouse was our favorite. We got an upgrade to the front rooms. Nobody mentioned that we needed to pay an extra subscription por privilege it was $70 per day per person (minimum 3 days). Only privilege subscription can eat breakfast and dinner in the buffet next to the beach. Also next to the pool only privilege subscribers can use the white sun chairs, the rest of the people had to use the brown ones. Same thing in the sea benches, the nice ones where only for privilege subscribers. Which makes the rest of the visitors feel excluded.

Food needs to be really improved.The restaurants should have highly trained chef and staff.Mexico property (Ocean Riviera Paradise) was having way better food than Ocean Beach and Sand at Puntacana. Property upgrade is required to bring upto the standard if their properties in Puntacana.

The staff at some of the restaurants were less than nice. Even sarcastic. The drinks at the swim up bar were VERY watered down. Everything on the resort (shopping) was highly overpriced. We felt we got priced gauged many times.

Place was nice. Definitely not kid friendly. Daisy place is not well maintained. Activities for kids are not great and also done very late at night. There are things in the family area “games” that are not actually working”. The kids pool is used by adults. They run out of towels all the time and then they make a big fuss if you don’t have “towel cards”. The villa marina (by the beach) waiters were never friendly. And their food was not great either. Resort doesn’t n la have enough shaded areas so people reserve their spot with their towels early enough so you never get a spot. The rooms were cleaned daily and well stocked. And our concierge Derlin was very attentive and took care of our restaurant reservations. We traveled with 2 kids 3 and 6. We inquired about babysitting. First we were told $10 the hour. Then $20 and finally charge. $30 the hour. The lady was great. She watched the kids while they slept. Then a second night offered us a better price. I think it was a definitely overpriced. We decided not to do anymore nights. I think it is a great resort and personnel are not getting paid enough or people staying are not used to tipping them. My kids had fun and we did too but I would not come back.

Este hotel superó nuestras espectativas desde la llegada con el front desk. Excelente personal, amabilidad, super limpia la habitacion, las áreas verdes y comunes muy bien cuidadas y super limpias. Las piscinas, las actividades nocturnas, la comida, en fin VOLVEREMOS. El equipo de animación muy bueno tambien, en especial el joven conocido como chipping hammer.

Los restaurantes del hotel ofrecen comida muy rica. Las actividades que realizan son muy divertidas y se pasa muy bien. Los empleados del hotel son muy atentos. Todas las áreas estaban muy limpias y con sus mantenimientos al día. Los buffet que ofrecen comidas tienen un menú variado.

The hotel is very good. The buffet food was excellent, the pool is large, and the bar offers great service. The staff is very helpful, and the nightly shows were very enjoyable as well. My only complaint is about the credits that Expedia offers to VIP clients. It would be great if the gift shop were included, because in the other places where you can use the credit, you have to spend a certain amount to receive a discount, and there is a specific minimum required to apply it.
