Overall very nice experience. Dinner reservations require planning at least 2 or 3 days ahead, otherwise you’re stuck with the buffets. Noticed that even if reservations were full they would be half empty. There’s different levels of access, so be aware of that. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The door of my balcony couldn’t lock, however, I did feel safe enough not to press the issue. If that is something that concerns you, make sure to ask staff or bring something of your own to secure the door. When they came to clean our rooms they only really made up the beds, trash and other things strewn about the room would remain untouched. Don’t expect them to clean up after you. They have events, but I found they were mostly catered to families with kids, which I didn’t really mind, just something to keep in the back of your head as you plan for a trip here. The WiFi would randomly kick you off which was annoying, but when it worked it was pretty good. I recommend buying the premium WiFi, even if you’re staying for less than 7 days. The food left something to be desired, but the one restaurant I was able to book, Samsara, was something I would eat again. I would come back to this resort, but I’m sure there’s better options out there.

The resort, rooms, buildings, and pool areas are beautiful. The wifi is limited and spotty unless you are in the main lobby area. Buffet food gets boring quick, rarely freshly cooked, potatoes and many vegetables are never cooked through, meats are tough and grisly. Specialty Restaurants are nearly impossible to get reservations at, And the restaurants seem to just use the food from the buffets with new sauces. It may be all inclusive but they never stop the upselling...bottles of wine, top shelf liquors, ugraded wifi, platinum services, timeshare offerings. And the wandering sales folks are not limited to just the beach, on the resort you're constantly stalked and asked to sign up for excursions and spa services, balinese beds by the pool. The local vendors are persistent on artisan day but they are friendly. THERE WERE A LOT OF YOUNG CHILDREN (3MO-4YO) CRYING, SCREAMING, MISBEHAVING, AND PARENTS WHO COULDN'T/ WOULDN'T/DIDN'T CONTROL THEM EVERYWHERE WE WENT. I'd like to see some adults only areas and pools for non platinum visitors. There is a family area and pool, keep the youngsters in that area, they shouldnt be hanging out at the pool bar with the drunks and couples getting romantic. House keeping, landscapers, bellboys phenomenal! Waitstaff, cooks, bartenders, and security could learn to be more attentive and to anticipate needs of guests. Not once were we ever asked "can I help you?"

El precio es justo, la limpieza de la habitación fue muy buena aunque el minibar no estaba completo. El complejo necesita atención y cuidado en algunos lugares. El área de niños es linda y divertida llena de actividades. La comida es muy rica, variable y abundante el personal es amable en su mayoría pero algunos son un poco rudos. La playa es hermosa Son gente honesta se nos olvido una gorra y la recuperamos en los objetos perdidos. El wifi es lento.

Most of the staff working at this hotel are rude or just don’t like working there. There are a few people that will treat you well and have good customer service skills but that’s not the norm. The buffet lacks variety and they rarely have a table ready. They should do something to organize the shuttle lines, when the train arrives it’s very chaotic. Pescador restaurant was good, but the host that night was more interested in telling me about the mistakes I made instead of trying to help. Hibachi restaurant was average. It was pretty much impossible to get a reservation for the Argentinian restaurant.

Our stay at Grand Bavaro Princess was truly memorable—very close to a perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we noticed how clean and well-maintained the entire resort is. The grounds are beautifully kept, and everything feels organized and relaxing. What really stood out was the staff—they consistently greeted us with a warm “Hola” and were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The beach is absolutely stunning, with pristine white sand and clear water that makes it hard to leave. The pools are just as enjoyable—spacious, clean, and perfect for both relaxing and having fun. Being an all-inclusive resort, it really delivers on value. Drinks are freely available, and there’s always something to enjoy without worrying about extra costs. The daily shows at the theater were a great bonus—entertaining for both kids and adults, and something we looked forward to each evening. There’s even a casino on-site if you want a bit more excitement. The only extras we noticed were for premium dishes like lobster, but that’s understandable. Aside from that, almost everything is included, which made the experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Overall, it felt like being on a cruise ship—but on land. Everything you need is right there, and you’re free to just relax and enjoy. We would absolutely recommend it and would happily return again.

Overall this is a great resort. Our family of five stayed seven days. Which includes three older kids. Any issues we had were minor and addressed quickly. The staff were amazing and very friendly. I appreciated that they acknowledged my kids and tried to have fun and interact with them. The beach is well taken care of and very beautiful. We felt the Platinum upgrade was well worth it for our family. Highly recommend the PBG Club. The food is the best and the staff there seems extra special. The one thing that I would recommend improving is the variety of entertainment. The nightly entertainment was a bit repetitive.

My partner and I stayed for 6 nights over spring break as a college-aged couple, and overall we had a good experience with a few things to note. The resort is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and hardworking. However, as Americans, we were surprised by how few English-speaking guests were around us. The standard food and drinks were just okay and felt lower quality. Even with the Platinum upgrade, the food was hit or miss, some meals were good, but others were unclear in preparation, and at times we didn’t know what kind of meat we were eating. However, Platinum still made a big difference with better options, private pools and loungers, smaller crowds, and a more relaxing, couple-friendly atmosphere. A major downside was medical care. My boyfriend got severe sun poisoning and needed treatment. The on site clinic costed $350 out of pocket, and the hospital was about $8,000 upfront since they didn’t accept U.S. insurance. We were also required to stay overnight for a relatively minor issue. In general, Punta Cana can feel tourist-scam heavy, especially with extra costs like medical care. Overall, we had a great stay, but we wish we had known these things beforehand. Consider upgrading or choosing a higher-end resort or a different island destination.

Amazing hotel! I’ll definitely be back. I loved all the amenities it offers. Beautiful calm beach. Restaurants are delicious and the buffet is amazing. Staff are friendly and nice. Definitely will be back. I loved my stay and this resort. Entertainment groups is amazing and a good time. The shows are also amazing! Definitely surprised mes thank you to the staff for being amazing!

This resort is beautiful - the grounds are very nice, the pools are great, the beach is amazing. Food was awesome, so much selection at all of the restaurants. Staff were so friendly and nice. We loved it all except the rooms - they were not

The resort seemed newly renovated, loved how the room had a partition between bedroom and sitting area. Plus a cute balcony. The bathroom was also huge and very comfortable. The beach and the buffet restaurant plus food trucks and a swimming pool (along with kids pool) right by the beach is an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT. Loved every corner of the resort
