「Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.」

「What an amazing experience to have a beautiful little cottage, nestled in the rainforest area with a beautiful waterfall looking right out. Your door via accommodations were wonderful, Axel the owner was just a delight if you ever want an off the beaten path, but not that far away from Hilo beautiful experience where you could swim and experience your own private waterfall. I highly recommend it. 」

「Room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed. Central location was convenient to bus station and farmers market. It did get a bit noisy at times with the close proximity to downtown, but the mynas were the loudest things around. Contactless checkin was smooth and easy. Unfortunately we did not get to eat at Paul's, but it looked delicious. Maybe next time. 」

「Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of...
