They also had some snacks and water available all the time as compliments and were refilled daily. Location was also great, with Kyotos Gion District for dinning and largest Temples all within a short walk. "

"Fabulous location in the heart of "downtown" Kyoto - yet calm and quiet. Many great restaurants, shops and sights close by. And the river and canals for strolling and picnics. Our only complaint - and this was true of every accommodation we stayed in in Japan - it would be great to have robe hooks and towel bars/racks in the bathing area!"
