HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel

"Very clean and centrally located in Shinjuku, having a laundromat in the building was helpful. . The staff was amazing and very helpful. Things to improve on: There is zero storage in the room, no closet or drawers to put your clothes in except for a 4 foot bar next to the sink to hang a few things. Only one restaurant in the property that is not for everyone and a Starbucks that does not open till 7 am. (Most people would like to get up early and get a coffee before getting out on the town) Overall if you want to be in the middle of Shinjuku, close to train stations and a ton of shopping and you don’t mind the things I mentioned above then this is your place."

"Great, great hotel. This is the place I'd definitely would return to. Its in a clean safe neighborhood. The train station is literally a block away. The value for what you get is unbeatable. The breakfast was something to look forward to. I'd recommend an omelet station, would be nice, but not necessary. The whole place was modern and clean."

"Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay. The lobby was clean and modern and the rooms were also. The staff was helpful and courteous. There were plenty of staff to help and waiting was minimal. The breakfast was top notch, a bit expensive, but good. I'd recommend an upgraded room vs. the basic small one. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to get hard floors instead of carpet. The location of the hotel is near the border of Kabukicho, so although its not within that area, I'd recommend walking around it to avoid it. The good part is its close to a lot of eateries. Explore the neighborhood behind the building, its nicer. To access Shinjuku station, I'd walk around kabukicho."

"Easy to navigate. Go up to the 8th floor and check in. Then use your gender elevator with your QR code. You have to go to the 8th floor every single time you want to go to your floor. 7/11 is next door to the left and Family Mart is a few shops to the right. The train station is about a 4 min walk, and one of the easier stations to navigate. This stop has an EKI stamp. I got the breakfast included, which is okay. Had to walk quite a bit to get to DOTOUR. Easy process, just hand them your ticket and they'll give you the options. 9th floor is a great view, do try to keep the noise level down... some locals go there to do work or study. They didn't complain but its courtesy."
