「Lovely pub and restaurant. Room lovely and clean but didn't need a disabled bathroom and extra lighting that was bright in room at night. Large family group staying next to us, who had early morning meeting in hallway and no soft closing doors so quite noisy. Staff excellent. 」

「Was over for a wedding at nearby Dodford. Well located and more budget friendly. Despite this, amenities are great. Good pool and gym in separate building, nice lounge. Drinks on the expensive side, but food fair for the standard. Main reason for very favourable review was the staff, who were accommodating, friendly and wanting to please. Would return if in the area」

「Very accommodating, as i knew i wouldn't be at the hotel until almost 10pm, fantastic customer service, no issues, bed was so comfortable i slept like a log And i will probably be using them again soon」

「A very comfortable experience with very nice service, and clean rooms all around. We requested for a sofa bed in the room but it wasn’t made at the time of arrival; fortunately the staff quickly made one for us.」

「Fabulous standard. Newly refurbished to high spec. Very friendly staff. Lovely and quiet. I felt perfectly safe, helped by my room being on the upper floor and there being a 24/7 reception. Worth noting the rooms are “motel” style - ie doors to the exterior walkways which for single vulnerable travellers should just be aware of. That said … I intend to make this my go to place for Milton Keynes. Excellent value for money. 」

「We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was full of character being a Listed Building and The Manager, Tony, gave us a wonderful guided tour of all 15 the bedrooms and the spa in the cellar (which was beautiful). Dinner was absolutely amazing - plus one of the best Full English breakfasts I've ever tasted. The bed was super-comfortable and the bedroom was huge, spacious and beautifully decorated - no two bedrooms were the same - which added to the charm of the hotel. Lovely lounge and fantastic bar...
