Also, the check in process was perfect; however, the shared bathroom situation was a bit off-putting. Now, I’ve stayed at many locations with shared bathrooms so that wasn’t the issue. 「Great location. Small rooms. No place for suitcases. Hard flooring and impractical light beige carpet. Breakfast adequate but not great. Dining area overlooks ocean, so nice. Lots of ‘adjustment’ issues (hotel is new) so things may be fixed in the future. Area is lovely. Highly recommend The Red House for dinner in neighboring town of Eyrarbakki, a quaint fishing village a 10 minute drive away. 🙏」

「Very easy to book , good value and excellent communication all the way to check in, very comfortable, clean, modern and spacious with everything you could need. Excellent parking, very easy to find and in a nice quiet location with some great scenery and lots to see close by. Hot tubs are a bonus and are a perfect place to relax in the evening.」

「Lovely cabin. the surrounding is very empty, still some distance from the seaside. it was a bit smelly outside of our cabin, so probably not a good idea to use the hot tub and BBQ. the kitchen is well equipped, but be aware that there is no oven. 」

「The hotel does not feel safely because the hotel rooms can be accessed through other doors, so random people can freely enter the hotel and no one in the hotel knows. The bes sheets were a little dirty, and there was no shower head in the bathroom, you could only shower with a shower from above your head. You had to wait for four to five hours, so don't expect too much. 」
