Rooms were sufficient and staff is nice. The breakfast options are good. It’s about a half hour walk to downtown which is the only downside, but there is a local food court a few blocks away with good options.
The staff was great. Very helpful. Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet had many choices and was a great perk in a costly destination. Would stay here again.
Only stayed one night before beginning a cruise. Close by the cruise port which was convenient. Good breakfast was included, Room was on the small size but served us well for our needs.
Great stay! Clean room, great with a toddler. We stayed here on both ends of our cruise. They helped us set up some taxis, had a great breakfast, and a lovely coffee bar!
It is very clean rooms and enjoyable stay. Breakfasts is really good and we felt what we get from North American hotels are no match for the great Breakfasts the Lights hotel provided. Would be ideal if they can provide with Microwave and a fridge in the room for the amount they charge per room per night. If it is not possible, would be nice if those available in a common area
Outstanding breakfast; very helpful staff; our first room was hit at night; our second room was perfect; closed to restaurants etc… will return to this hotel;
The continental breakfast was copious, the location is good, the beds were comfortable and considering how expensive Iceland is the hotel it’s worth the money.
The hotel was simply wonderful. Everything was great and the staff was super. One person named Marta was tremendous, she was so nice and pleasant, a very lovely lady.
Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and professional, and you can use laundry services. They also can book you a bus to the airport if you plan ahead. Only issue is that it's a bit of a walk to downtown Rekyavik, so best to have a car. Busses were not always reliable.
We booked two double rooms for one night. It was a great stay. the hotel is very clean, beds are super comfortable, and the view over the city was an added bonus. Our favorite amenity was the included breakfast buffet. There was a vast selection of delicious options. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!
The front desk person when we checked in was not helpful and a bit rude; however, everyone else after that was great. Breakfast was great. Overall very good experience.
Room was clean, beds comfortable. Parking was very conveniently located. Not the same vibe as staying downtown, but only an easy 8 min drive. The rooms were hot, which seems weird to say in Iceland, but the windows don’t open so it’s like a greenhouse… keep your curtains closed when you go out.
