"I have stayed in 12 hotels on this trip, and this is the friendliest, with the kindest staff. I needed an extra pillow and they brought it to my room within a few minutes, they got me a taxi for my bus out of town, they had better then usual English understanding and treated me very well. "I stayed at the Myajima branch of the Grandvrio Hotel. It's very much catered to Japanese guests, and once again, I was the only European, but I don’t mind. There's plenty of room space and lots of amenities. Dinner is always nice, and breakfast is just as good. I really like the Grandvrio Hotel chain."

"Everything was amazing, from the staff service to the food and the view was gorgeous. Food: The menu changes everyday so we were able to enjoy various kinds of deliciousness. You can select your preferred timing for dinner and breakfast. Room: Staff has already prepared hot water, tea packets and mini snacks for you to enjoy. While you are out for dinner in the communal area, staff will prepare your futon while you are away. Toilet: The tub and washlet is separated. Water for the tub is hot spring water, not the normal kind so you can enjoy it in your room if being naked with strangers isn't up your alley. Parking: Plenty of slots available."
