「Liked that hotel was a bit quirky. Room was nice overlooked the car park but with countryside views beyond. We had an evening meal in the Bareca restaurant which was very good especially the Dirty Burger, highly recommended」

「Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat.」

Breakfast good but chaotic the first day they were slow clearing tables queues to get in perhaps more staff helping with this?. Room..Generally clean...thoufh.drops a point for this am afraid. So clean bedding, had to ask for towel change...I 🤔 they are given set amount of time to turn round rooms. There was a caramel colour substance on both bath towels and on wall...

「Everything about this hotel was perfect. Easy parking, beautiful grounds, lovely clean room with complimentary drinks, fridge, and tea & coffee making facilities. Bath and shower, comfortable beds; lovely, helpful staff. Tasty breakfast, everything you could want, and excellent evening meals. Dogs were allowed, but not in the main house. They didn't really bother us, just a few "yappy" ones. Definitely Five Stars」

「Seemed understaffed dinner orders were slow. Neither bathroom or shower had anywhere to place your toiletries. Hot weather with no fan leaving window open meant constant traffic noise.」

「3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...
