"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see improved are the temperature control, since you have to call the front desk to adjust it, and the elevator, which could use a refresh to better match the rest of the property. That said, these are minor compared to the overall experience. The staff has always been extraordinarily kind and helpful, and it remains the only place we choose to stay when visiting Chicago."

"A few complaints I have are the elevator was down for a bit. We were placed on the 3rd floor and the stairs were a little rough either way my wife having an injured ankle. We had a hard time turning the tv on as silly as it sounds. Called front desk twice and it seemed like they were in a rush to get off the phone and hung up quickly twice. We didn’t realize you had to actually turn the TV on at the TV itself and not with the remote/xfinity. Took us a while but we figured it out. Maybe a note for next customers would help? Breakfast overall was good. However, the waffle mix was out and the lady running it didn’t seem to be too attentive to want to check or fill it. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there and could tell. Overall, the room was very clean and the stay was good. If the staff would just fix up on the things I listed above there is no reason this place wouldn’t get 5 Star ratings everytime."

"The breakfast room was used as a games room in the evening while the children ran through the entire building with no supervision. The restaurant across the parking lot was not great. Burger was raw, fries cold and gravy had a film on it. Nothing else around for options."
