"Booked a double queen room, got a king with pull out couch. Asked front desk to be corrected they said they would refund me and I could go else where which is not helpful since I booked this months in advance. Health unit shut down the hot tub after we arrived and saw other guests in the hot tub. Maintenance employee seemed unbothered by the situation. Rooms were held together with painters tape. Don’t waste your money - stay else where."

"Great location for restaurants and coffee shops, the morning breakfast was more than enough. Close access to the 400 which makes it easier for an out of towner not used to Barrie. I would stay again but ask for a room away from the parking lot."

Reasons I didn't give 5 star rating We were told at check in that breakfast started at 6am. Next morning at 6 we went down and the front desk said it doesn't start until 7, but the vouchers they give you say breakfast starts at 6. This was an inconvenience only because we had to be somewhere by 7am. The pool is very small but wasn’t busy so my kids had it to themselves. The issue I had was with the room attendants. They were swearing and yelling as well as telling inappropriate stories to each other while cleaning rooms which would not have mattered except you could hear them while walking down the hallways and waiting for the elevator. I found this to be unprofessional and inappropriate especially knowing kids are walking the halls. "
