「We stayed in a twin room in the height of summer, the windows could not open beyond an inch or so, there was no fan and the room was hotter than a sauna. Unbearable. The staff were lovely but totally unsupported being left in charge late with no guidance. We felt very sorry for them. Simon was excellent and made our stay really good. The garden and food was lovely. Breakfast consisted on a plate with stale bread roll and box of cereal no bowl or milk. Left outside the bedroom door.」

「Nice comfy bed in a big room. There was a fan supplied (a necessity during the heatwave especially during the night). Staff were always polite and helpful. Breakfast was different every day ( I think it depended on who cooked it) but was nice - it’s just a pity ham and cheese and different fruit were not offered but as I said breakfast was nice.」

「My room was up a flight of not very well light stairs causing me to miss the last step it was above the bar and entertainment room, live music started 9PM and finished 11PM fine until more music started, at 11.50PM I rang down to see how long it will last, I was told 10mins, never happened, I rang at 1.10AM to ask again, someone hung up on me then finally it stopped.
