「Great property for the money!」

「The facility of this hotel is old. Other than that, it’s location is good, close to the ferry dock and many restaurants.」

Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. 「Overall great experience - super nice property, ocean view, short walk to the beach, 2 pools. Our only complaint was that our room (The Hansen, a king suite room) was right next to the staff laundry room. The door was always open and we’d have to be careful opening our door, and staff would often be talking and hanging out right outside our door. 「The property was clean comfortable. It reminded me of a friendly hometown feel. I loved its location because we had easy access to Virgin island breakfasts of pates and Johnny cake and cheese as well as bush tea and coffee. Delicious!!! I would recommend this location to everyone!! 」

「Blue Beards is a lovely place to be. Its high on a hill and there are lots of steps! The road up to the place is not in great shape. Walking up and down the hill to town can be a little difficult. Blue Beards itself is fantastic. The view is amazing. The grill has great food with gluten-free options, which we needed. The staff are all very helpful and friendly!」
