Tempe Oasis

10/10 Excellent

"The rooms appeared clean till we opened up drawers to put our clothes in, and a meth pipe fell out. We turned this into the front desk, who said they would report it to management. We haven’t heard back on the subject. The pool and hot tub area were clean and towel supply was kept up well. I would like to see the pump pressure turned up for the hot tub, but the temperature was good. Staff was just great, friendly and helpful."

Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak

"The room I stayed in felt boxy, but still nice and clean. My room view was of maintenance, so that was not so exciting to hear or see in the morning. Sadly I did not get to take advantage of the resort big lagoon pool or even see it, though I was charged a resort fee just for staying there. I was only here for one evening (much needed rest, which I got). Perhaps it would have been more enjoyed with a partner or kids. The breakfast at the bar was very nice and good quality and the bartender was very attentive."

Talking Stick Resort

"I stayed at the talking sticks before, but this time was not so great. Me and my sister stayed Mother’s Day weekend. The room was clean, but the refrigerator did not work as well as there was a lipstick or makeup stain on one of the beds. Also, when we went down to the pool area, there was a dark ring around the pool and it got on my bikini top and destroyed it. The staff were amazing as always. Just wasn’t the experience that I’m used to from the talking sticks."

Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown

" We were very disappointed overall with our stay. After two flight delays and arriving late, we were greeted by being told we had no reservation, despite booking through Hotels.com. We felt ignored until we showed proof on the app. Another staff member was much more polite and helpful. We requested daily housekeeping instead of every other day and were told that would be fine, but our room was only cleaned once during our four-night stay. We also called for towels, coffee supplies, glasses, and toilet paper, and no one ever came. Parking was frustrating as self-park is a block away, while valet is $44/day plus tips. The valet staff were one of the few positives. The ice machine on our floor was broken the entire stay, and getting coffee downstairs was impossible both times we tried. Our “suite” was extremely small with barely any room for suitcases, much smaller than a previous standard room we stayed in here. Also, there is no pool. For the price we paid, the service and overall experience were very disappointing. We would recommend staying elsewhere, as there are many better options nearby. "
