We seemed to have visited at a busy time as the traffic was horrible no matter what time we ventured out. However, everyone in Ellsworth was super friendly to us tourists. They seem to take us in stride!

Some of the best pizza in the state is just up the road at pat's pizza. And the best sandwich shop Giant sub is right there as well. The people of downeast Maine are great people to be around!

During there Harbor House Basketball weekend any convenient store that was to stay open later would do awesome. The late games get over and we had no place to get any food or drinks on a Friday or Saturday night.
"We had a wonderful stay at this Stone Park! The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was friendly and the whole experience was smooth and pleasant.
A helpful tip for future guests: the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, so you might want to bring your own snacks or plan accordingly. However, they make up for it by providing some fantastic discounts for local places that encouraged us to explore the area.
Overall, we were very happy with our choice and would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and convenient stay."

We just needed a quick night on our way from Western NY to Nova Scotia- the check in was quick and friendly, and was right off the expressway. Breakfast included. Everything we needed right there.
