「Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We...

「This was a spectacular beautiful historic Inn built in 1818 with the most beautiful view of the mountains and Phillips lake from our window and it has a beautiful fine dining with the best food I had over all in Bangor! The Mother’s Day brunch was to die for! We definately look forward to staying here again on our next visit! 「My family enjoyed our time at this property. I received a friendly email prior to arrival with clear directions and local recommendations. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area.」

「The inside apartment was clean new. The first look of the house was old in appearance. The heating was not good in the BR off the kitchen. Bigger BR was toasty. Overall I would return in a minute. Biggest issue was only finding decafe coffee in the cupbord. :(」

「Killed spider in web by bed. Bathroom floor was not clean. Hostess was so nice. Bed was comfy but cleanliness was not up to par.」

「We didn't get to stay in one of the cottages and stayed in the motel. The only real drawback was I had to go to the office to get a cup of coffee in the morning. Oh yes, the shower was tiny. Other than that, it was fine.」

「I think my communication issues may have been on the Expedia side of things and have little to do with the host. I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone. Note to host would be to have an extra roll of TP and...
