"We had a great stay overall- the hotel is beautiful, elegant and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, the location is unbeatable, and the entire property feels polished and upscale. Staff interactions were pleasant and professional, and it truly felt like a luxury NYC experience. The only area for improvement would be the elevators. Although there are multiple elevators, there was frequent waiting, they filled quickly, and they made many stops, which could be frustrating during peak times. That said, it wouldn’t stop us from staying again. A wonderful hotel in a prime location with just a small logistical hiccup. "

"I spend 100 nights a year in NYC and always try to stay at the New Yorker if it's available and reasonably-priced. I would stay there every one of those 100 nights if I could. It's clean, convenient, provides great service and just reliable. "

"The room was a little warm and hard to get the temperature down even with the heat off. Window opens but then a little loud (sirens) throughout the night. Only complaint. Staff were all amazing and helpful rooms were nice and update and clean! Would stay here again. "
