"The place just had a refresh and the rooms still feel slightly dated. The location is the real sell of this hotel though! Cannot beat the location. Place is fine. No bells and whistles. Just a room with a shower and a bed and thats all I needed."

Empire Hotel

Empire Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is a solid, well kept and friendly place in the mood and style of old New York Unlike a lot of the snew hotels, this one actually has real people who can talk to you and solve any problems. My room was very clean and had ample space for one person, although I know there are smaller rooms, a bit cheaper--I would spend the few extra bucks on the bigger room. The house staff doesn't pound on your door all morning if you have your "Do not disturb" sign on the door. This hotel is in a nice location and gives you a taste of the city's old classy feel."
