This was an amazing place to stay. EVERYONE is friendly. The room is clean. The bed is huge and comfortable. The air gets so cold. The rooftop bar has BEAUTIFUL views of the city. The location is perfect. You're so close to EVERYTHING! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. The atmosphere is so chill. It's a nice, quiet stay compared to the hustle and bustle of the city. I love the atmosphere. Would definitely stay again. Also. The rooms are SO quiet. We were right next to the elevator,...

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

I stayed here recently with my husband and daughters and it was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was absolutely perfect! They had even upgraded us to a suite!! We had absolutely no complaints and will be staying here again on our next visit!

I will preface this by saying that as a former New Yorker, I *hate* staying around Times Square - usually. The Casablanca was a respite! Don't be fooled by the first-glace shabbiness of the lobby. The hotel is squeaky-clean, the service is what you'd expect from a hotel 5x the price, the breakfast is lovely - I was genuinely impressed. As you'd expect, the rooms are small, but no more than other NY hotels. Truly an excellent stay.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting New York! Staff were wonderful, rooms were great (ac worked great and was cold, they were SUPER clean and all the things we needed, beds were actually SUPER comfy), area is relatively quiet but very close and central to all the great places. 10/10

Jeff provided exceptional service throughout our stay. He was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly a fantastic experience thanks to him!

I was very skeptical about booking a hotel in NYC again. I’ve been here 3 times so I took the time to read all the reviews on Expedia for about 2 weeks. This hotel only had some complaints about noise (at the time) because they were renovating it. Well, I can confirm that there was no more noise around and the renovations turned out beautiful. I prefered paying a little more per night and not risk staying at a sketchy place. This hotel is beautiful, couldn’t be better located, the staff is...

The staff was great at the hotel. Alex in the bar and the young man that worked with her were outstanding. We were having a very quick dinner and the food did not come out fast enough. She had it wrapped up in our hotel room we got back to the room later that night. The front desk, man who is from Clarksville, Tennessee and went to MTSU was really great. There was a tall gentleman from Jamaica at the front desk and front door. That was also really wonderful. Enjoyed the stay. Only complaints...

We spent four nights at the Moderne late October/first part of November. It is a very nice boutique-type hotel, smaller size and more intimate than a large hotel which was exactly what we were hoping it to be. The location for us was perfect, safe, with Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, The Met, dining, and many other things/places all very walkable. The Subway stations close by also made it very easy to explore other parts of the City. The service at Moderne was outstanding, the staff super...
