「Shower and cabinetry in the room looked like it needed cleaned. Breakfast was very poor. It went from 6-9;30. At 8:30 when we were there, they were out of almost everything except dry cereal, yogurt, a few muffins, and 3 apples. Little was done to bring out more food. Most people were standing around waiting for more, but ultimately left. All of that aside, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable.」

Breakfast is better than most other places with scrambled eggs (not clear if box mix or just well scrambled), bacon strips (processed, but real meat), oatmeal, several choices of cereals, fresh bananas/apples, yogurt, waffles, and breads/toast. 「The front desk staff was WONDERFUL! But other than that everything else was very poor. The room and hallways were VERY dirty. Also the furniture including the lamp, dresser and chair were broken in the room itself. 」

「Poor customer service. Signs in the room say no problem if you forgot to bring amenities available upon request. Well all they had were 2 towels in the room and didn’t have any available and was told won’t be any until the next day in the afternoon. The receptionist way of expressing that was that he was being bothered and wasn’t even thinking about going above and beyond to make a loyal customer happy. Guess washing towels is too much work now a days.」

「My first time to Marshall and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Check in was quick and very pleasant. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I didn’t have time to eat the next morning but it looked lovely, Checkout was a breeze! I’m putting the contact information on my phone book. I’ll definitely return there. My grandson is a student at the University of Olivet, so I’ll definitely be back!」
