「The lodge was very nice, very clean and a great location. Check in was super easy and we had no issues with that piece. Our only negatives are I had a difficult time sleeping because the mattress was extremely firm. My wife thought there could be a couple wall hangings to make the room have a warmer feel. Overall an outstanding stay.」

「While the Hotel Earl is a clean, modern, and perfectly located gem near downtown Charlevoix, my off-season stay was a mixed bag due to winter conditions and maintenance hurdles. 「My wife and I had a wonderful stay over Valentines. Charlevoix House was very warm and comfortable. Our host, Steffan, made us feel right at home and welcomed. And, he is an excellent chef and baker! The breakfast spread was one of the best we have experienced when staying at B&B's. Our room was spacious with a nice view of Lake Michigan. Location is fantastic - just a short walk will get you right into the center of town and all activities.」
