"Very friendly staff and the location can’t be beat. Hotel has pretty much everything you need. The only think that sucks is the expensive resort fee and parking fee."

"After we got to our room we could see that we were not given the type of room we payed for namely a Spa tub room. When I called the front desk they agreed to move us the next day, but also offered us a suite instead. We had a great oceanfront view in both rooms, the sliding doors would not easily close and lock. Since we were ocean front and on the 6th floor the entertainment from Dukes (first floor ocean front of the hotel we very loud and distracted from our experience in the evening but fortunately they bands quit playing around 9:00 PM."

"Feb 2026 Unfortunately, upon our arrival I was shocked to see that the whole resort was under construction. During the day between 9-5pm there was jack hammering and it was impossible to even think. They originally put us in a room that was old and run down. I was so unhappy I said to my husband I didn’t come from Australia to be in this dump. Please ask them to change our room. Thankfully, that did and it was a much better room. As for the restaurants, pools, spas etc I was disappointed and did not eat at any of the restaurants. They also did not have room service! Everytime we wanted to go to the outdoor spa there were drunk hooligans making a lot of racket. The advertising of this place was misleading and I would not ever return there. Such a disappointment especially that it was my first time in Hawaii. The whole place is so expensive and overrated. Don’t waste your money, there are much much better holiday destinations. Marriott resort & spa was not worth the money! The only positive was that our room was clean. THANK GOD!!! "
