「Quaint old world style Food was excellent and room was very clean Staff were very friendly The one downside was that there was no parking but that was the same for all hotels in that area I could have spent all day looking at the shipping artefacts in this inn Would definitely return for another stay 」

「Grand old building , room clean and tidy , excellent night’s sleep . Breakfast good loved the timed sit down . Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going .」

「Perfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. 」

「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」

「Owner was awesome. Cool old property in the middle of town. Had a fantastic dinner in the adjacent pub. Order the Cullen Skink. Our room was facing the street and the logging trucks woke us up several times in the night, my only complaint.」

「I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again.」

「Rooms are well furnished with good quality furniture. Staff were friendly and very pleasant to talk to. Overall the establishment is a 5 star rating with excellent good quality meals both in the morning and at night. Ideal location for getting about the area and would highly recommend this venue. 」
