Would be good to have spa facilities.
Bathroom had a bad sewage smell - luckily I was able to move rooms. A bit disappointing as it seemed to be a known problem.

Excellent food, attended a wedding function and tbh the staff looked overrun. Although the day was in general was excellent. Rooms not available for all guests until 15.00. This meant if travelling to a function from distance, there was very limited changing facilities. Think it could be better if there was an area that people could get changed in. That apart would recommend the hotel, as found the bedroom and facilities excellent.

Parking good. Staff excellent team both at hotel and wedding venue at Doxford Barnes.
Hot tub not open. Too cold
Excellent place to stay. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal we had excellent. Service good.
Only down side. Checkout 10am. Most hotels check out 11. Felt rushed this morning

Charming, cosy room which was lovely and clean. Bed not very comfortable, couldn’t sleep due to heat of room and sound of air conditioning machine on roof outside our window. Having stayed three times before I found the last bed the same but the room also lovely and not noisy as this one was. Dinner amazing, thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were polite but no smiles from all but one staff member. Breakfast was very nice had eggs florentine but husband found full breakfast a bit dry. Breakfast staff were lovely and very upbeat/helpful.

Excellent rate on Expedia & was given Farmhouse 1 with hot tub! Very enjoyable & lovely location.
Dinner & breakfast both delicious & all areas of The Tempus are stunning. Staff are exceptional.

Not Great
The hotel was relatively easy to find and had some decent amenities. There was no thermostat in the room so cooling was done by window (which was very loud considering gravel parking lot). The bed was not very comfortable and the shower got lukewarm at best.
Worst part was that the fire alarm was triggered at 1:30 in the morning and we had to evacuate for about 15 minutes (standing in the cold rain). The front desk worker did not seem to think this was an urgent issue at all, taking his time to come investigate. He simply turned off the alarm and said "doesn't look like anything is on fire, sometimes the alarm just acts wonky" and left. Very disruptive and didn't feel very safe for the rest of the evening.
