Liked the location, style and size of the rooms and friendliness of staff. Not so keen on the menu (choice and portion size of some main courses) and thought drinks were quite expensive.

Lovely location. Room nice apart from damp smelling dark bathroom. Food ok... starter was very average but mains were nice. Although couldn't be helped the ovens were broken so the choices we made from menu weren't available. Service from staff was poor, not much engagement, very transactional, most were not very friendly. Breakfast was serve your own coffee and tea from a machine.. but latte was barely luke warm so had to have something else. Breakfast very average. Wasn't asked how stay had been when leaving.

Our room the Sebastia was dog friendly and the best we’ve ever had it was beautiful with a Juliet balcony and lovely views would highly recommend. The staff were lovely and the dogs had their own menus and not too far to walk the dogs on the beach before breakfast. Had evening meal first night at 8 pm the restaurant was full and so they were out of a few options but had the fish sharer for two and it was delicious. The first dog friendly hotel where you can take your dogs anywhere in the restaurant which was brilliant. All the dogs were well behaved we took 2 medium dogs would definitely return a great base for exploring the Northumberland coast loved our 2 night stay for my birthday

Room was nice, individual and very comfortable. Breakfast was great but my Sunday lunch beef was a bit tough but I think it was one of the last portions to be served. Everything else was really good.

We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar. Some staff seemed ran off their feet whilst others seemed a little idle. We would have likely ordered more drinks had we been asked. Breakfast was great, nice choice. Love the location.

We had an amazing stay. We were in The Coquet room and it was just gorgeous. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was excellent. The breakfast was superb, we both opted for the full english and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Check in was easy and straightforward.
