Margaritaville Beach Resort Playa Flamingo

6/10 Okay

"My family stayed here for 5 nights on our vacation and felt the stay was just ok. The biggest reason that I can’t rate this higher is because the food was not good. Breakfast was not good with very limited options. We knew this was a small resort when booking and knew it wouldn’t have the options as some larger resorts but we all came away underwhelmed with the food. The staff were very friendly but service was slow but we had no place to be so waiting wasn’t too big of a deal. We went to a local restaurant the last night because we wanted to get a good meal in before we went home."

"We enjoyed. Thank you for my daughter’ s bday decorations. It was big surprise and fun. Everyone was helpful and friendly. First room we stayed at was on the ground floor and we found many bugs in our room including a lizard. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a different room. Thank you."

"Breakfast was on par with the food we had in Miraflores but most of the other food left a lot to be desired. Just not flavorful with the exception of the ceviche which was good. Overall a nice stay at the resort and we enjoyed the pools and facilities. There were empty plastic cups floating in the pool toward the end of the day once, though. Direct access to the beach was very nice. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The towel limitations were annoying."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Experience! Our stay at Parador Nature Resort & Spa was absolutely incredible. From the moment we checked in until the day we left, everything was seamless and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing wildlife. We encountered so many animals throughout the property and were able to observe them up close. The white-faced monkeys were especially memorable—one adventurous monkey even managed to break into our room! It definitely gave us a story we’ll be talking about for years and made our Costa Rica experience even more unforgettable. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the restaurants offered breathtaking views that made every meal memorable. The resort is also conveniently located near beautiful beaches, and the complimentary shuttle service made getting there easy and stress-free. Parador combines exceptional service, stunning scenery, incredible wildlife, and a true Costa Rican experience. We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be back!"

"We had a wonderful time at the resort. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. The amenities at Club Rio are great too. We repeated some of the activities because of how much fun we had. The only thing they could improve is the food. Food is not great at the hotel and it’s expensive."
