「We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel.」

「It’s best to go off peak. We had a wonderful stay in early September. The staff was excellent. We booked one excursion through the hotel which was amazing! We did another excursion with Gerald. He is great! All in all we had a great vacation in Costa Rica!」

「I felt the food and drinks were average drinks were a bit watered down but the service was great from the waiters to the staff to the housekeeping, only one front desk person had an attitude but I’d say overall our experience was good. I would only say the food was average because some days not all the yuca was fresh some dishes looked reheated but breakfast 9/10 and lunch I can’t say because we didn’t have lunch there, the dinner was ok was a little disappointing we couldn’t get reservations to...
